Oscar Torre makes his directorial debut with PRETTY ROSEBUD. In front of the camera, Torre has already proven to be a formidable talent and versatile storyteller. His transition to directing seems both natural and inevitable. Big screen credits include: Academy Award® nominee Todd Phillips’s THE HANGOVER III (with Academy Award® nominee Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis), KennethCastillo’s COUNTERPUNCH and LADRÓN QUE ROBA A LADRÓN directed by Joe Menendez. Torre’s breakthrough role was in the critically acclaimed LIBERTAD directed by Norton Rodriguez. For television, Torre is widely recognized for playing “Santos” in CBS’s CANE opposite Jimmy Smits, Academy Award® winner Rita Moreno and Hector Elizondo. Additional TV credits include: THE MENTALIST (CBS), NCIS (CBS), CSI: MIAMI (CBS), COLD CASE (CBS) and DOLLHOUSE (FOX). Torre was born and raised in Miami, Florida.
