Richard Yniguez is a veteran character actor whose career spans four decades and 100 feature films and primetime TV series. Over the years, Yniguez has worked with some of the industry’s most respected actors including Academy Award® nominee Robert Mitchum, Academy Award® winner Anthony Quinn, Academy Award® nominee Angela Lansbury, Lucille Ball and Ricardo Montalban. Yniguez’s breakthrough role came in Michael Pressman’s landmark film BOULVARD NIGHTS, as Richard Avila, a young man trying desperately to leave the gang life. Other notable feature films include Gurinder Chadha’s WHAT’S COOKING?, which won the Humanitas Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and features an all-star cast including: Academy Award® winner Mercedes Ruehl, Academy Award® nominee Alfre Woodard, Joan Chen, Kyra Sedgwick and Julianna Margulies. Yniguez’s television credits include classics like HILL STREET BLUES, CAGNEY & LACEY and HUNTER as well as CSI: MIAMI, SHE SPIES and THE SHIELD. He was born in Firebaugh, California. Father Antonio
