Tamara Braun is an award-winning actress who has garnered critical acclaim in both TV and film. Feature films include Bethany Ashton Wolf’s gritty Southern drama LITTLE CHENIER for which Braun won the “Jury Prize – Best Actress” at the Honolulu International Film Festival. The cast, including Johnathon Schaech and Clifton Collins, Jr. won the “Cooper Wing Award- Best Ensemble Acting” at the Phoenix Film Festival.  For television, Braun in widely recognized for high-profile roles on both daytime and primetime series. Notably, Braun won a Daytime Emmy Award® “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series” for her riveting portrayal of Ava Vitali in DAYS OF OUR LIVES (NBC).  Prior to DOOL, Braun won the Soap Opera Digest Award “Outstanding Lead Actress” and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award® “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series” for her popular GENERAL HOSPITAL (ABC) character Carly Corinthos. Braun’s credits include ALL MY CHILDREN (ABC), CSI (CBS), CASTLE (ABC) and SUPERNATURAL (CW). She was born in Evanston, Illinois.
